Questionnaire Autopilot
Draft answers to customer security questionnaires from your own evidence, then review and export them.
Questionnaire Autopilot helps you answer the security questionnaires customers and partners send you (CAIQ, SIG, vendor due-diligence forms). It drafts each answer from your own Verisight evidence and previous answers. A person always approves the final answer. Available on Managed and above.
1. Upload the questionnaire
Open Questionnaires and create a new one:
- CSV file: Verisight finds the question column from a header such as
question, textorprompt. It also picks up an optional reference column (ref,id,#) and an optional control column (control_ref,control) in the formframework:ref, such asnist-csf-2.0:PR.DS-01. Without a recognisable header, the longest column is used as the question. - Or paste the questions, one per line.
Up to 500 questions per questionnaire. Spreadsheets in Excel format must be saved as CSV first. The file is parsed in your browser, so what's stored is exactly what you saw.
2. Review the drafts
Each question gets one of three states:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Drafted | Verisight reused an answer you approved before, or open findings back a concrete gap statement. |
| Needs evidence | Nothing in your evidence covers this question. The draft says so honestly. |
| Answered | A person approved a final answer. |
Drafting follows fixed rules and uses no AI model. Verisight never claims a control is in place just because it found no problem: with no supporting evidence, the state is needs evidence.
3. Approve answers
Edit the draft if needed and approve it as the final answer. Your name and the time are recorded. Approved answers become reusable for future questionnaires.
4. Keep drafts current
Ran a new assessment since uploading? Use Re-match to re-draft every question that isn't answered yet against your latest evidence. Approved answers are never touched.
5. Complete and export
- Mark the questionnaire completed once every question is answered. You can reopen it later.
- Export as CSV (for Excel or Google Sheets) or JSON. You can export at any time, even mid-review: draft and approved answers sit in separate columns with each row's status, so a draft can't be mistaken for an approved answer.
