Export your data and delete your account

Download everything we hold about you, then permanently delete your account.

You can delete your Verisight account yourself at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate, so Verisight makes you download an export first.

What is deleted

• Your user account and your sign-in.
• Every organization where you are the only owner, with all of its assessments, findings, evidence, reports, connectors and monitoring. Any live subscription on those organizations is cancelled first. If the cancellation cannot be confirmed, nothing is deleted.
• From organizations that have another owner, you are simply removed; the organization and its data stay.

The deletion dialog lists exactly which organizations will be deleted before you confirm.

Step by step

1. Go to Profile → Delete account → Delete my account….
2. Wait while Verisight checks which organizations would be affected.
3. Download your data. You get a JSON file with your profile and memberships. For organizations being deleted it also contains every record and stored file (evidence, reports, attachments). Secrets such as API-key hashes are left out.
4. Type your email address to confirm.
5. Choose Permanently delete. You are signed out.

The export must have been completed within the last 24 hours, otherwise deletion is refused.

What we keep

A security audit trail recording the deletion itself is kept. Database backups are not edited; they expire on their normal retention schedule.
