Cyber Essentials Readiness
Find out how ready you are for Cyber Essentials v3.3 before you apply for certification.
Cyber Essentials Readiness checks your organisation against the UK government's Cyber Essentials Requirements for IT Infrastructure v3.3 (in force from 27 April 2026) across its five control areas:
- Firewalls
- Secure configuration
- Security update management
- User access control
- Malware protection
How it works
You answer the readiness questions and add evidence notes for each control. Verisight evaluates them against the requirements, using the same rules every time, and combines them with any permitted passive observations it already holds. No network testing is performed.
What you get
- Per-control result: pass, gap (the requirement is not met), missing evidence (your answer needs proof) or not assessed.
- Findings and remediation actions for every gap (high severity) and missing piece of evidence (medium), so you can close them before you apply.
Readiness, not certification
The result is labelled readiness. It does not certify you. Certification is issued by an accredited Cyber Essentials certification body.
Price
€349 standalone; €329 on Essentials, €299 on Managed and €249 on vCISO. It is never included in a plan, because it is a specialist deliverable rather than monitoring output.
