Email notifications
The events Verisight emails you about, and who receives them.
Verisight sends notifications by email to every member of the organization that has an email address. Each email links straight to the related finding, monitor or page in the portal.
What you're notified about
| Event | When |
|---|---|
| Posture degraded / improved | A monitoring run crosses a meaningful-change threshold. |
| Monitoring authorisation invalid | A monitor was paused because its authorisation or DNS ownership is no longer valid. |
| Finding assignment updated | A finding was assigned or reassigned. |
| Finding status changed | Someone changed a finding's status. |
| Finding severity increased | A later run saw a finding at a higher severity. |
| Verification requested / confirmed / still affected | Progress of a fix verification. |
| Stack Watch digest | New vulnerabilities or malicious packages affect software you watch. At most one email per daily check, never one per match. |

Not receiving emails?
Check your spam or quarantine folder and allow mail from sentinel-rsoc.com. The address used is the one on your sign-in account; you can change it under Profile → Sign-in & security → Manage account & security.
